Last week Grade 4 learned about Maria Skłodowska-Curie, a famous physicist and chemist who conducted research on radioactivity and was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize. We read about one of her science lessons, during which she showed her students how to prove that water is heavier than air. Grade 4 conducted the same experiment. Our students also made several posters presenting their own scientific inventions.
