On the 19th of October students of the International School of Gdansk visited the Science Centre EXPERYMENT. We spent a whole day exploring the fascinating world of science. Moving between different sections of the centre such as Environment, Human, Optics, Sounds and Physics our students understood that science can be found everywhere… not only in thick Science textbooks. While conducting simple, safe and amusing experiments everybody discovered that science is both fun and interesting.

For the first time students, parents and teachers of the International School of Gdansk celebrated the Polish Independence Day anniversary.
We had our cheeks covered with Polish national colours, with white and red baloons all over the place. We walked proudly through the streets of Gdansk together with our older friends from Gdanskie Szkoly Autonomiczne.

The children from the International School of Gdansk celebrated Diwali. Diwali is the Hindu New Year. We discovered that Hindu people (and some people from other religons) celebrate Diwali by putting diyas in their windows to guide the goddess of wealth into their house to bring in the new year. We made diyas, ate some special Indian food and had a lot of fun! Best Wishes for Diwali!

What a Halloween party! Along with our great celebration, we did a lot of great crafts, read some awesome books, and had yummy snacks. We had to make some jack-o-lanterns of our own, de-gutting pumpkins was pretty gross, but really fun! Here are just a few of the fun things we did last week.
Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!
