We are very proud to announce that our Grade 5 homeschooler, Mark Saunders, is a winner in the Gdańskie Lwy inter-school mathematics competition. As one of just a handful of students with top scores in the whole Tricity area, Mark was invited to receive his award in a special ceremony organized by Gdansk City Hall. Mark also achieved a very high score in the “Kangaroo” International Math Competition and will participate in a special trip as part of the award. We are very proud of Mark's accomplishments. ISG teachers and director were chosen to speak at the Nordic Network Conference in Stockholm on April 20. Marta Brzywcy's presentation on myths and realities of creativity, Kamila Ordowska's talk on classroom routines, Beata Wolkanowska's speech about emotional intelligence and Susan Mleczko's presentation about peer coaching for educators were well received by teachers and administrators from the Scandinavian international school system. The ISG Faculty are looking forward to continued active participation in the Nordic Network of International Schools.
